The protective measures to contain the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) also impose some restrictions on people who have a bereavement.

We would like to provide you with important information on how these regulations affect visits, funerals, funerals, meetings and consultations.

The current situation

Due to the now rising numbers of new infections in Germany, both old and new protection guidelines are being implemented again to contain the pandemic. These are carried out differently in the respective federal states and municipalities. This is where the so-called “toolbox” of the countries comes into play.

How does Corona affect people gatherings?

The current requirements, which are issued on the basis of the SARS-CoV-2 infection protection regulations of the respective federal states, must always be observed. Since regulations can change quickly in a very short time and new regulations have to be defined, various cities or institutions can also prescribe additional measures to contain the pandemic.

In almost all federal states, meetings or gatherings of several people may currently take place, but the minimum distance and hygiene rules must be observed strictly. Most regulations currently require the collection of guest contact details. The AHA rule should always come into play here.

For the protection of all persons present, the following behaviors must be observed:
  • Wash and disinfect hands thoroughly
  • In some cases, the display of flyers and folders is prohibited, and it must be avoided that several people touch the same pen for forms. Everyone has to write with their own pen.
  • No handshakes, no hugs
  • Keep your distance from other people (at least 1.5-2 meters)
  • When coughing and sneezing, turn away from others, cover mouth and nose with the crook of your elbow

What needs to be considered during consultations?

If you notice symptoms of illness, have had contact with infected people or people who have tested positive for the virus, or have recently returned from a risk area, we ask you not to come to the branch. We can then have the necessary conversation over the phone.

If you would like to come to us for a consultation, please make an appointment with us in advance by phone. We also ask for your understanding that, due to the prescribed contact restrictions and minimum distances, we can unfortunately only receive as many people in the business premises of our branches as the size of the premises allows.

We wish you a lot of strength in this special time and that you stay healthy.
